Visual Studio 9 Code Name Orcas Installation day

Installed Microsoft Visual Studio 9, code name Orcas today. I just wanted to get a feel for it because I will be writing the new Bandwidth Vista using .NET 3.5 and wanted to know what new functions are available. So I haven't done much with it yet. Some of the new C# language features look cool, the 'var' type which is interesting. The downloads where massive all compressed into a rar file which took around 30 minutes to unzip, even on my newly built Pentium D 3GHZ - wow! So it should have a lot of new features I hope....

Day Off

Just had a typical saturday day off ;) Been tring to to spend my spare time working on my website at the Software Dungeon which I started a couple of months ago. It has quickly built up but I have had a few problems. Firstly I am trying to get the RSS file to work properly, just the dates to sort out. I am also trying to build an FTP Program at the moment but have not managed to do any today. So my first blog day, did some PHP, C#, HTML and took a trip out to Hannafore Point at Looe ( I am in Cornwall ), so I am a happy man!
I also spent some time working on my Saltash webpage which is a local mashup using PHP.
